The Antonym Poetry Translation Award 2026

The Antonym Magazine are accepting submissions for the Antonym Poetry Translation Award 2026, for the best published works of translated poetry from any Indian language into English. Antonym Collections is a publishing house with a special focus on literary translation, whose purpose is to promote cross cultural connections and diverse narratives by taking pride in the art of translations that breathes life into words, bridging cultures and connecting hearts.

Submissions must have been published during 2025. Winning submissions will all be published in the Yearbook of Indian Poetry in Translation 2026, published by Antonym Collections. The first placed submissions will receive INR 10,000, while second place will receive INR 5,000 and third receiving INR 3,000. There is also an additional INR 2,000 available for the winner of the editor’s choice award. The deadline for this opportunity is 31 January 2026.
