Manasa Lit Prize

Manasa Publications is announcing the “Manasa Lit Prize” – A Novel Competition for New Women Writers, aimed at encouraging and amplifying the voices of women storytellers across India. This competition seeks to uncover powerful, diverse narratives that reflect the richness of women’s perspectives. Manasa’s mission is to create a vibrant space for women authors to share their unique narratives. This competition is a celebration of women’s creativity and literary brilliance. If you are an emerging writer, you are invited to step forward and share your voice.

There are two competition categories, one for Young Adults aged 16-25, and one for ages 26 and above. The winners of each category will receive Rs 100,000 as a cash prize and have their book published. This prize is open to Women Writers of Indian Origin, and submissions must be original unpublished works of fiction. Manuscripts must be in English and should be between 40,000 – 80,000 words.
