Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award
The Singapore Book Council is inviting entries to the Biannual Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award.
The award is presented to an outstanding children’s book written by a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. It seeks to recognise outstanding published works by Singapore writers and illustrators and encourage the publication of quality children’s books in Singapore.
There are two categories for this award, picture books and middle grade books, and the winners of each category will receive a prize of $3,000.Entrants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents and submitted books must have been published between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2025.
